Parents are entitled to claim 20p from the government for every 80p that they contribute towards childcare costs.
The maximum level of support per year is £2,000, rising to £4,000 if your child has a disability. Parents need to meet a list of criteria, including both parents being in work. Parents need to create an account at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
