Each of our Yorkshire Montessori nurseries is split into three rooms, Babies, Toddlers and Pre-school.
Each room is staffed with suitably trained professionals with the knowledge to create stimulating, enabling environments for the children, both inside the classroom and outside in the wider world. Whilst certain topics are planned in throughout the year, daily learning in each room is created ‘in the moment’ depending upon the children’s interests and recent observations.
We listen to what they’ve done at the weekend, spotted on the way to nursery, or what they’ve been doing with their families at home, and plan activities around their interests, needs and stage of development, rather than work from a strict rule book.
We have a very well stocked resource cupboard and quick imaginations, allowing us to shape our days around the true meaning of Montessori – following the child.

Our nursery has been carefully and beautifully transformed from an old chapel and former synagogue, into a very special place for children.
